God Really Does Answer Prayers

Ok. So, you know that thing you've praying about for years but you've seen no answer? Listen up. Maybe that's a good thing.

"Sometimes God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers."
(Yeah, that's from a song. But it's so true.)

Many times you think you know what you want and what you need, but God is like "NOPE" and does something completely different. And that's why you need to have faith. So that when something like that happens, you realize that God has a plan for you. And while that plan may not be exactly what you wanted, it is what GOD knows that you need. 

In reality, we really don't know what we need. We think we do, but we don't. And that's that. God always knows what's best. And, as it's famously said, "God will not put you through anything you cannot handle".

I cannot tell  you how many times I have been upset that God didn't answer my prayer and then I realize (years later) that He actually did. It doesn't have to be by some miraculous thing. It can be something tiny. Something you may not even notice at the time. But it's something that you will look back on and say "wow, why didn't I see that at the time?" 

So don't think it's the end of the world when He doesn't answer your prayers- because He's working hard at just that. Never give up on God. Because He never gives up on you.
