You wanna know what the best thing about being single is? Not having someone you have to answer to 24/7. Yea y'all know what I'm talking about. When your boyfriend constantly blows up your phone wanting to know where you are, what you're doing, and who you are with every second of the day. Granted maybe that means he cares. But listen. If there is any trust in the relationship, that won't be necessary. Let me get off my little rant for now lol. Being single gives you time to figure out who YOU are. If you don't know who you are....how do you know what you want??? Some girls think you need to date a million guys to find "the one". Hey guess what. God's best for you will still be there AFTER you've loaded up your car with all that relationship baggage. It's all up to you and the choices you make in life. Getting in the wrong relationship more than likely will steer you away from God's will. Which is why it's important to listen to him. Being able to hear God and know his voice requires you to spend time with Him. Wanna get in on God's best for your life? Listen to his voice.

So many people want to classify "being single" in the same category as having a fatal disease or something... you know what I mean- that whole "you're SINGLE?" thing that happens when you let somebody know. Yeah, THAT. Look, the most important thing I can tell you is that being single is NOT a disease. Not even close.
If you're a young woman and you're single, you should be rejoicing. Rejoicing that God is taking this time to mold your heart and turn you towards Him. A girl without a solid relationship with God is bound to fail in every relationship with man.
But, it's important to acknowledge that we all have our faults and weaknesses. There will be days when you think "what is the point of this" or "I just want to be like everyone else and have a boyfriend". During these times of trouble, you should look towards scripture. You should remember what exactly God is doing with you during this time of "single-hood". He did not forget about you. He is not ignoring you. He is waiting for the perfect moment...and you should be waiting right along with Him.
"I think that in view of the present distress it is good for a person to remain as he is. Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be free. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek a wife." 1 Corinthians 7:26-27
A relationship with God is the most important relationship there is.
Always remember this. Embrace it. Live it. Speak it.
